Disgrace

I was reading an article in one of the papers i had in my room and It's Asafa Powell accusing British sprinters of being lazy. He said that when Simione went out to Jamaica to train with him he saw the signs of laziness and i was sitting there like WTF!!!!!! How can he call athletes lazy when there are people in this world weighing over 20 stone!!!

Anywaythat isn't the disgrace but the state of the British athletics association is.

This year at the world championships the British girl who i can't remember the name of for the life of me won the bronze medal and the gold medal winner is under investigation but that isn't the point. Our girl was actually working a full time job whilst training for the Olympics and World Championships. That is absolutely stupid. The British government is not investing anywhere near enough money into the National squads at this point in time. You have to win a medal to keep any sort of funding which is a disgrace.

It's not only Athletics that is suffering but it's any sport which is not publicly popular. The National Badminton squad was cut from 16 to only 8 players which is stupid. How do they expect us to compeet when the athletes aren't getting the proper training and support.

Stupid Politicians. We have the Olympics coming up and we want to win some events on our home turf. How do we do that when the best are not getting any help.
